Dear Dr. Livingston,
I’m so pleased with the work you did on my face today. It is very subtle and looks totally natural, closer to how I looked about 6 or 7 years ago. I am more and more impressed every time I am around you with how skillful you are at achieving a natural appearance and how you use less product to do so than most of the other dermatologists or plastic surgeons.[It’s gotta be the measuring ;)]. Filling the chin made such a difference and I have never had that done before.
Because of your integrity, because of how you value a natural, normal appearance I would like to come back in a month and see if you could fill my lip on one side. The full lip is there when I smile but if I’m not smiling it is drawn in on one corner.I tried a filler 1x before but it was too much as I only want the slightest fullness and an even-ing out for greater symmetry.
Let me also add I am still so happy with my breast reduction and feel it is one of the best things I ever did.
Thank you again!
Dear Dr. Livingston,
Thank you so much for the great work you did fixing my left thumb. I am once again able to ride my motorcycle, and take it to work every day. There is a small amount of discomfort putting in the clutch, but I manage, and the therapy is helping (I go every Thursday).
Also, thank you for the incredible boob job. Dr. Livingston, you are truly an artist with a real eye for aesthetics. You can and should take great pride in you work.
I always look forward to my scheduled appointments with you and that is partly due to your wonderful staff. We think very highly of Courtney and JoJo. Both girls are personable, approachable, and yet remain professional.
All in all, my experience with your office has been 100% positive…well, except maybe for the pin removal. That was freakin’ gnarly!! 🙂
Dear Dr. Livingston,
I wanted to let to send you a quick note to let you know how thrilled I am with the results of my breast lift and augmentation. You truly exceeded my expectations!
As you know, I was rather apprehensive about the scars associated with the lift. I am very happy that the incision only involved the areola and it is healing nicely. The shape and volume are beautiful! I could not ask for better proportion or natural appearance.
I feel so fortunate to have such a talented surgeon. I will definitely recommend you to others. Thank you for helping me achieve confidence again!
Dr. Livingston & Courtney,
I haven’t said it enough…..thank you for all you have done and do for me! It means a lot having such great care each and every time I come in or call! I am working on a new shirt to wear at all my walks this year! And I will come in as soon as I get it, to show you!
Anyway, thank you both so much for everything!
Good Morning Dr. Livingston,
Thank you for seeing my dad and sister yesterday. I’m glad to hear that he won’t need surgery on his cheek bone and nose! My sister said you are pretty sure he will not need any surgery for his orbital floor, but will look at it again next week. I’m also glad he won’t be going back to work yet and when he does…it will be desk work for 6 wks! I know it’s “your job”, blah…blah…blah…BUT I do want to tell you “Thank you” and tell you I appreciate that you took the time to look at his CT Scan last week and call me to make sure he was keeping his head elevated and that he was taking antibiotics. ESPECIALLY since he was not on antibiotics and was not elevating his head!! Thanks for calling his antibiotics in too!
To any patient considering plastic surgery:
I would like to start off by saying, choose your doctor wisely. I did and I am thrilled with my results. Choosing Dr. Livingston was the best choice I’ve made in a long time.
Recently, I decided to have breast augmentation and liposuction under my chin. I take good care of myself but there was nothing I could do about the genetics of chin fat and sagging boobs. Gravity was finally winning! It has been 3 months since my surgery and I am absolutely thrilled with my results; Dr. Livingston did an amazing job. I would recommend him to anyone. The following is what led me to choose Dr. Livingston as my doctor and why I highly recommend him to you.
1. Aesthetic Results:
I was not a difficult case; however, like most women, I was slightly asymmetrical. Dr. Livingston was my third doctor consultation but the first Doctor NOT to say, “That’s just how you are shaped; there is nothing I can do about that.” Dr. Livingston did a minor incision about one areola to create symmetry (my areola’s were only 1/2 a centimeter off but would have been more noticeable with implants). He also corrected my cleavage on one side (one breast was more round and the other was more slanted). Every doctor said there was nothing they could do about that, it was just the way I was shaped. Dr. Livingston did not see me as just another boob job. He corrected my cleavage and made my breasts symmetrical. Dr. Livingston wanted to make sure I had the best possible results, so he took the time to do the minor corrections which gave me the look and symmetry I was trying to achieve.
2. Nerve Sensation:
Dr. Livingston did NOT cut through the nerve leading to the areola so I would not loose sensitivity. Most doctors say it’s a 50/50 chance that you will lose sensitivity. That was not good enough for me. Dr. Livingston took the time to move the nerve out of the way and then he cut under the muscle and inserted the implant. Once that nerve is cut, it may or it may not grow back together. I was not willing to take that chance. Sensitivity in my breasts was very important to me. I was amazed to learn most doctors do not take the time to move the nerve over, they just cut through it. I never lost sensation in my areolas, if anything; they were hypersensitive for the first few months.
3. Placement and Size:
Dr. Livingston did not cut above my natural breast line so my breasts look completely natural and never looked like they were “in my throat”. He also knew I wanted to be full but not huge since I like to play sports and my family is very conservative. I gave him pictures of what I wanted my results to look like. I found before and after pictures close to my original size and shape and what I wanted to look like post-op. He ordered various sized silicone implants for my surgery. He then used a spacer implant to determine the best size. The spacer implant was inserted during surgery to determine the perfect size prior to inserting the silicone implant. The spacer implant was filled with saline, then they sat me upright to judge the size. This was done at various CCs (275, 300, 325, 350, 375, 400) until I had the perfect size based on the pictures I gave him. I thought I would want a 325-350 implant, he ended up using a 375 implant and I am absolutely thrilled with my results.
Dr. Livingston really cared about making sure I knew everything up front about my surgery. He made sure I didn’t have any questions;he was very conscientious about my pain management, my results, my post-surgery psychological effects and me as a patient. He was absolutely the best doctor and I am thrilled I chose him. I never felt like I was just another patient on a conveyer belt, Dr. Livingston really cares about your results and you as a patient.
Thanks to Dr. Livingston I look and feel 15 years younger! I would recommend him to anyone! I hope that this will help make the very difficult decision of finding the right surgeon a little easier for you.

To Whom It May Concern:
I would highly recommend Dr. Livingston for cosmetic surgery. The main reason I think he is the best is because he specializes in performing both reconstructive surgery and breast augmentations. His expertise met my needs for both a breast lift and implants. He is the only plastic surgeon of the five with whom I consulted, who was skilled in both areas.
My expectations and requirements were extremely high, even off the charts, to the point of being ridiculous. I was so ecstatic once I saw and experienced the results of the surgery. EVERYTHING that I wanted, Dr. Livingston did. First, he made my breasts look very natural and real; in no way does anyone think they are otherwise. Second, Dr. Livingston was able to create exactly what I requested after looking at pictures I gave him of my favorite performer, bearing it all. Dr. Livingston’s precise and quality surgery is no less than a work of art. He molded my breasts in perfect proportion to the rest of my figure. Third, all my clothes still fit perfectly, except for maybe a dress or two.
As a professional sales person for an upscale magazine in Austin, Texas, I want to look my best at all times; therefore my appearance matters a whole lot to me. It took me diligent research and time to interview different plastic surgeons in the Austin/San Antonio Area to determine the best one to do my surgery. I feel fortunate and blessed to have found Dr. Livingston. In addition, his price was the most competitive, especially for the quality job he did for me.
I totally believe that those who choose Dr. Livingston for breast surgery will be as happy and satisfied with their results, as I am. He can do it all and is the best!
Hi Doctor Livingston,
I wanted to thank you again. One year ago today I had male breast reduction surgery with you. It’s changed my life, and I’ve been looking forward to today – it’s been fun to reflect on my special year!
Dr. Livingston and staff, thank you for your sincere efforts on saving my son’s fingers. Your kindness and expertise will never be forgotten. Thanks and may God bless you dearly.
S.T. (on behalf of) Houston Hand Surgery patient
Dr. Livingston, just wanted to say thank you for the dedication you have to your job and for being so good at it that you gave me an opportunity to use my right hand again. You mean a lot to me not only as my doctor but as a great person who loves what he does.
A big thank you for the best plastic surgeon in the world.
Dr. Livingston, this gift is a small thank you for putting up with my endless questions and for taking such good care of me. You are a very talented surgeon with an added bonus: you have a great personality and are extremely approachable, which seems rare within the medical community. I know you are very busy with your practice, but hope you will take the time to nourish your spirit and soul as well as your body. You have been given a gift- your surgical skills that you’ve honed well- that is a blessing to those needing your abilities.
I am M.M.’s father. I currently live in Bergen, Norway and have just been home for the first time in 6 months, so obviously haven’t seen her since she had her surgery with you this past June. The change that I’ve seen in M.M. over the past 2 years, and especially physically since this past March, has been very dramatic. I am so very proud or her dedication and commitment. I wish her mother could have seen the changes she has made in order to be a healthier person. I know it is one of my daughter’s many regrets, that her mother wasn’t able to bear witness to this. I want to thank you very much for being a part of this process. M.M. mentioned that you work out at 24 Hour Fitness and that is how she found out about you. I very much would have liked to have met you there to thank you in person, but between her accident, her moving and the hurricane, we were never able to make it in before my return to Norway. I never would have believed that I would see her so frustrated because she didn’t have time to make it to the gym for a good workout! We actually had to convince her after the accident that she needed to take it easy!
I know she is very much looking forward to the next procedures that you have mapped out for her. I don’t know if I will be in Houston when she has this done, but I know she is in good hands. Between M.M., John and her Aunt Bonnie & Uncle Lawrence, I have heard nothing but good about you. Her aunt and uncle were very skeptical about this whole procedure, but you completely won them over. It’s possible that I will not see her until next summer. If that is the case, I very much look forward to not being able to recognize my daughter when she arrives in Norway!
So again, thank you very much for all you have done to help M.M. I know she holds you in very high regard. I hope to one day thank you in person, but until then, this will have to do.
Best Regards From Norway,
I wanted to take this opportunity to send you a letter of appreciation for doing such a great job with my surgery. Every woman ages and when we want to have surgery to reverse the clock it can be very scary, especially when it involves one’s face. I came to you wanting to reverse the aging, sagginess of my eyes and without a doubt you recommended and performed the correct procedure an upper / lower blepharoplasty and also recommended fat grafting under my eyes. I have great trust in your opinion and went ahead with the procedures.
Dr. Livingston this procedure was only four weeks ago and I can’t thank you enough!!! I have had so many compliments, you can’t even imagine! No one realizing I had surgery, yet getting so many comments on how my eyes are one of my best assets. It’s been great because I have such wonderful results, yet you made it look so natural I’m not one of those women that you can tell has had plastic surgery.
Thanks again, you are a great plastic surgeon, someone I can count on to improve on my looks, someone who will recommend the correct procedure and not do too much, someone who will always make me feel naturally beautiful! Please use me as a reference if anyone has any questions.
